A large part of life passes us by because of limitations in our vision. Our vision is extended by the airplane, providing a startling change in point of view, enabling us to look at the earth from a relatively new position.  This gives us a means of making hidden forms visible by discovering and photographing places that most people never see. This bird’s eye view allows us to interpret our environment focusing on landscape and surface reality, often abstract with a lack of relatable elements. From this high vantage point, wide-angle views and dramatic angles, I look for subjects that are rich in color, detail and scale.
